Foundation Donors Make Virtual 365 Club Breakfast A Success! Even the COVID variant Omicron rearing its ugly head in January could not stop the Danville Public School Foundation’s annual 365 Club Breakfast.
Almost two years ago, Danville High School Choral teacher Jeff Thomas, Orchestra teacher Gage Womack and Band teacher Ryan Krapf started to investigate a way to upgrade the aging and out-of-date sound and light system at the school’s Dick Van Dyke Auditorium.
As the community inches forward to a return of pre-covid activities, teachers of Danville District 118 are making plans to
have exciting offerings for the students as they return to in-person learning.
School may look a lot different this year with remote learning, but it has not stopped the Danville Public School Foundation in its mission of providing enhanced educational opportunities for the students attending Danville Public Schools.
The Danville Public School Foundation awarded a $5,000 grant to the Danville High School’s U.S. Army Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (JROTC) to assist in purchasing Garmin Forerunner 35 fitness watches for the JROTC Cadets.
